The Spinnaker Bar & Grill functions as a club house for the Sint Maarten Yacht Club, organizers of the annual Heineken Regatta. Open to members of the club as well as the general public, Spinnaker provides all imaginable nourishments and adult drinks that might be required before or after a day of intense sailing on the Caribbean waters surrounding St. Martin island.
In September 2009, the management of Spinnaker changed hands. You'll now find Brad Taylor and Tara Newsum at the helm (frm. Lagoonies). Their motto is *"Good food, great view and cold beers!* - the restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from Tuesday thru Sunday (breakfast weekends only in low season). Spinnaker's bar is open seven days a week, from 4pm to 10pm.
