Just this past September, Cristophe and Florence Hubler opened a new French restaurant in the heart of Grand Case village. Not without grand ambition, their place is flanked by long-established names such as Le Cottage, and L'Auberge Gourmande on each side. Right across the road, are Le Tastevin and L'Escapade.
The menu at *La Villa* is a creation of Jean Pierre Laponde, formerly at Sunset Cafe. Of course you'll find traditional dishes such as a French Onion Soup, but also many nice surprises: what to think of a "Caribbean Pumpkin Cappuccino." Fish and meat entrees include all-time favorites like Tuna steak with a black pepper crust, and the ubiquitous Rack of Lamb. A prix fixe menu is also available, the chef's specials change dailly.
