St Maarten / St Martin Dive Sites
Hens and Chicks
What a treat this is a great site. Only on exceptionally calm days can this site be used. It's a series of rocks with a mini-wall-dive tumbling down 70 feet to a sandy bottom. 20 feet down the reef is topped with beautiful elkhorn coral forests. Any type of fish and reef life can be found here and visibility is usually excellent.

If the mooring bouys have been washed away anchor well away from the reef to avoid damaging the beautiful reef life. And bear in mind that it's just a sandy bottom 70 feet down below you.

Time Tunnels
Long submarine canyons run palallel to each other at depths of 40 to 75 feet. Sightings of eagle rays and nurse sharks are quite frequent here and there are some mini caves worth exploring.

Anchor in sand in depths of about 55 feet. And don't forget your scope.

Fish Bowl AKA Bowl

This site is an extravagant coral garden loaded with every imaginable species of fish. And to top it off there's an excellent sponge grotto and Nurse sharks like to hang out here.

Depths range from 45 to 65 feet. Anchoring is in sand in 65 feet of water.

Jason said "What more canĀ I say? It's one of my favorite sites. Everything's possible here."

Little Sister

Little Sister is a reef formation lying in 70 to 90 feet in water, in the middle of a large sand patch. Beautiful sponges and seafans home a variety of tropical fish . Huge lobsters, moray eels and of course the resident hawksbill turtle "Sissy" can be seeen there on most days. Only 10 minutes away from Simpson Bay.

Due to the depth, only fairly experienced divers will be allowed to dive there.

Fuh Sheng

The Fuh Sheng is a wreck of a 120 foot Taiwanese fishing vessel laying on its port side in 110 feet of water.(What was it doing here anyway?) Right now it's an excellent penetration dive for experienced divers. There are moorings but keep an eye for floating line. This site is used often for a the deep dive traing part of the advanced open water course.

Jason said: "Great site and a lot of fun. I have had to cut some line loose from around a prop. Keep an eye out."
