COLE BAY--A mother reportedly crashed her car into two trees and another car in Cole Bay on Thursday after leaving her children at a swimming pool.

The woman was hospitalised at approximately 4:00pm. The Daily Herald understands that she lost control of her car on a side street off Union Road, ramming it into a bougainvillea tree, another tree and an SUV.

Reports suggested she had just dropped children to swim at a community pool when the car lost its grip on the road and slid downhill. No one else was injured.

Police did not have an official report on the crash.
