PHILIPSBURG--Civil Servants, cleaners and labourers will be paid the 4.8 per cent indexation as well as the periodical increase for 2010 at the end of May.

The payment was delayed as a result of the late approval of the 2010 budget, which continued in the Island Council on Thursday. Civil servants, cleaners and labourers will receive the 4.8 per cent indexation and periodical increase for this year at the end of May.
